September Mystery Box Recipes

This month's mystery box included Sirloin Tip Roast, Flank Steak, Pork Chops, Ground Beef, Pork Steak, and Ground Pork. Check out some of these great recipes to make with these cuts this month! All recipes have been tested and loved by us, and the kiddos! Enjoy!!

Crockpot Sirloin Tip Roast

1. Place thawed roast in slow cooker.

2. Top with 1 packet of onion soup mix, and 2 c. of soda of your choice. We prefer root beer.

3. Cook on low 8-9 hours. Serve with potatoes & veggies, sliced on dinner roll, or shredded over salad.

Flank Steak

Pork Chop

Pork Chops can be used for so much more than just throwing on the grill. This simple sheet pan dinner is one of our fall favorites. With squash and apples coming into season, this sheet pan meal is so light, fresh and tasty!

It doesn't get easier than a one pan dinner!

Pork Steak

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lay out pork steaks on sheet pan with brussels, or potato wedges. Sprinkle pork steak with seasoned salt or your favorite seasoning (we love Mrs. Dash original blend seasoning!). Drizzle Brussels or potatoes with olive oil, and top with salt and pepper. Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes, turning pork steaks and veggies half way through.

Pork Steak is one of the most flavorful cuts of pork there is. Throw it in the oven or on the grill for a simple, delicious dinner.

Ground Beef / Ground Pork

Mini Meatloaves are an alltime favorite in our house. If you ask the kids, somehow making food in bitesize or mini form must magically make it taste better. We use a mini loaf pan or cupcake tin. The best meatloaves are made with 1 pound of ground beef and one pound of ground pork. It is so great to combine the two types of meat to add flavor to any meal. We do this when we make tacos, spaghetti or basically anything with ground beef. The link below is one of the best meatloaf recipes, and a major bonus, when making mini loaves they cook in half the time!! These are great with mashed potatoes and green beans!

One of my favorite quick and easy dinners are any type of slider sandwich. They are family friendly, and oh so easy!

Dinner is less than 30 minutes is perfect for a weeknight!
